"My son loves attending The Mother Earth Academy and loves his Teach (Miss Chelsea). Such a caring learning environment with lots of time outdoors and child led learning. My son comes home every day with tales of what he's learned and experienced. He's learning so quickly and having so much fun doing it that I can hardly keep up with what his little brain is absorbing each week. I could not be more pleased with how comfortable he feels and how receptive his is with Chelsea's approach to teaching. I feel very fortunate to have found such a wonderful place for my son."

"This place is AMAZING! My son has always said he was bored when he was in public school. He is no longer bored. He has only been attending 2 weeks and I have seen a TREMENDOUS change in him. He loves learning now and I am so happy we made this change."

"Our family is so grateful to have met Chelsea Denny, the teacher and founder of The Mother Earth Academy, where our two boys go to school. Chelsea has created a learning environment where children thrive and actively participate in their learning. Our boys love going to school every day, and come home happy, sharing what they learned and eager to talk to us about their questions and ideas. Our youngest son is always asking us to give him math problems to solve and our older one loves reading and science projects. The Mother Earth Academy is dedicated to the joy of learning and allowing students to lead the lessons with their questions and interests. Ms. Denny keeps track of the current state standards and shares the student's progress with the parents. She also takes the students on outdoor adventures and loves learning alongside them. She doesn’t pass out worksheets or send home busy work, she gets the kids active in researching and exploring the world, shows them how to use media resources and how to learn from each other. Ms. Denny leads them in careful discussions and includes them in choosing what projects they would like to pursue next. We love hearing stories about the boys, playing with their friends, creating fun artwork, and learning things they genuinely find interesting. I highly recommend The Mother Earth Academy as an amazing choice for your child’s education."
